Discuss your fantasy sports here so we don't annoy people with interest in the real sports in their threads.

I have Giants defense for my 8 team fantasy league. A lot of the jerks I'm playing with drafted two defenses and I had the second to last pick of the 15th round so do the math. I wanted to feel out if I should drop the Giants and grab someone else on wavers. Thoughts? Here's who is still available:

Raiders
Chargers
Cardinals
Lions
Cowboys
49ers
Buccaneers
Rams
Vikings
Browns
Dolphins
Seahawks
Titans
Colts
Panthers
Bengals
Redskins
Bills
Jaguars
Texans
Broncos

play the match ups. defenses are dime a dozen. the steelers/jets/ravens of the world are always drafted first but never end up finishing first.

Although I predict this will largely be a thread about American sports, I shall post my current Fantasy Premier League team here just in case:

Goalkeeper: Joe Hart (Asmir Begovich)
Defenders: David Luiz, Danny Simpson, Phil Jagielka (Phillip Bardsley, Gary Cahill)
Midfielders: Luka Modric, Ashley Young, Tom Cleverly, Solomon Kalou, Jonas Gutierrez
Strikers: Kenwyne Jones, Edin Dzeko (Ivan Klasnic)

My team's killing it at the moment on Fantasy Football. I'm pondering whether to swap Nani for Ashley Young, but I reckon in the long run, Nani will serve me well.

What kind of stats do they keep track of in Fantasy Football (Soccer)? I mean, I could probably look it up but it won't lead to any decent conversation. I imagine if you're primarily tracking goals for Forwards that it's going to be really feast or famine.

Goals, assists, yellow or red cards, saved penalties, goals conceded, bonus points for performances.

Nah man. Young owned it for me in the last week. He brought me more points in the last week than the rest of my team combined. Granted a fair amount of that was him being the captain of my team, but even so: dude's a badass. He's been one of my favourite players since I started a master league game with Aston Villa on PES 2010.

You might be right, FS. I believe he's the top assister in the Prem since 06/07 behind only Fabregas.

My team in a 10-team league:
QB Matt Schaub (ended up getting a QB pretty late because most of them were taken very high)
RB Maurice Jones-Drew
RB Matt Forte
WR Roddy White
WR Miles Austin
Flex: WR Brandon Lloyd (he was the best player available)
TE Greg Olsen
D/ST NY Jets
K Stephen Gostkowski
Bench:
RB Fred Jackson
RB Daniel Thomas
RB LaDainian Tomlinson (thought I'd take a late-round gamble)
WR Chad Ochocinco (ditto)
WR Hines Ward (ditto)
QB Donovan McNabb (ditto)
D/ST NO Saints

My backup wideouts are pretty weak, but I can swing one of the RBs into he flex spot.

That's a pretty good team especially if Ochocinco ends up being a stud (which I think he has a chance to). I'm gonna try to get him but my leagues full of Pats fans who would probably take him in round 5.

Thank you. This is my first year doing Fantasy Football, so I'm a bit anxious.

How often do you guys make changes? If a guy seems to be struggling, how quickly do you bail on him?
