I agree, Chem. Lavezzi is very good at creating chances for his teammates and acting as the engine for the attack, but he is not much of a goal scorer. Ibra is a capable CF, but he plays his best football as more of a support striker. Considering their respective characteristics and style, I can't really see them gelling well together. It won't be as good as Cavani and Lavezzi, who were the perfect strike partnership.

Maybe PSG will go with more of an attacking trident using Lavezzi, Pastore and Ibra all together.

They signed Verratti, too. They are calling him the next Pirlo, but that is a long shot from reality.

Yo pink, give me the lowdown on Michael Bradley's chances at Roma. I have a bad feeling he might be going to a bigger club just to ride the bench, and that worries me.

He is very hardworking and versatile striker who can play as both a wide, or center forward. I'm very upset that we lost him because he's so young and hungry to prove himself.

I see no reason why he cannot develop into a great player. 10 goals for us last season and having already played in England he should have no trouble adjusting.

I originally thought that he was going to be De Rossi's substitute, but honestly he could easily push for a starting spot considering his supporting cast. Roma's new coach Zeman uses a very attacking 4-3-3, so you will probably see him starting next to De Rossi and Pjanic. He will be competing with Tachtsidis for a starting spot, which he is more than capable of winning.

The Neymar to Barcelona rumor is really just a rumor, factless speculation. I think Real Madrid has actually been linked to Neymar more but Santos (his current club) is demanding an insane transfer amount so they've moved on. Barcelona might be more willing to pay but I doubt it'll happen since he really is a poor fit for the club, at least until he matures.

From what I understand Van Persie to Man U was a bluff, Ferguson put in a bid to up the price for City. I don't think they actually intended to sign him but rather wanted to make Man City pay more, but I could be wrong.

I really don't see Ferguson engaging in such pointless games -a few million quid means nothing to City. I think he's just seen that a high class player in RVP is available for a cheap price and he thinks it's worthwhile going for it.

Im agreeing with Georgi here. Also, I guess Neymar still has a year more in Santos, so we'll see what happens after that. It's sad that he's not in Europe though, I've never seen him play, and Id love to see how he does in a european team. For some reason, I could see him do well in Arsenal, and he's young and all as well.

Maybe, but United doesn't seem inclined to spend and they're already stacked with forwards. If they're going to spend money it will probably be on Lucas.

I agree they're kinda stacked, but I reckon SAF might be thinking of having a front line of Rooney, RVP, Welbeck and Hernandez - I'm sure Berbatov will leave.
