Bruno Berner retired.

One of my favourite ever Leicester players. Always came across as a genuinely intelleget and nice guy and one of those players it was impossible not to like, a bit like Chris Powell and he the best full-back we've had since we were last in the Prem with ease and was probably our best player in our play-off season of 09/10.

Thanks for the memories, Bruno.

He really is a fantastic player, scoring over 30 goals this season in a struggling team, (by Arsenal's standards) shows his qualities, it makes you wonder were Arsenal would be without him and how long will he be prepared to stay at the Gunners?

not many big name strikers carry their form to new teams..

shevchenko, henry, ibra, torres all come to mind immediately.

yes, VP is great.
but arsenals win pct is 60%, which is about avg for them, if not slightly above avg, if you consider the past four seasons.
what kills them is conceded goals, if not for this, they would be well above spurs, but still well behind manu and mancity

what is staggering this season is mancity's win pct. it is just above 80%. most seasons 70 something pct will win you the league title. also, the overall league away game win percentage is really high this season, 32.7%, which is quite high.

Is it just me that thinks Stan Collymore is a really good pundit? He may put things bluntly and unintelligibly, but I find myself nodding at agreement at what his opinions are.

Like for example he was answering a question about if he thought United lost to Bilbao tonight because "United may not be taking the competition as seriously they say" but Collymore was like "the only reason why people may think that is because of football snobbery" and I was like "Yes Stan! Yes!"

Bilbao were quality tonight - fanastic performance. One of the best I've seen by an opposing team at Old Trafford for a while.

Bilbao are a quality side, but it is a worrying sight for English football if the Fifth best team in Spain can so comprehensively beat arguably the best team in English Football. Last night result highlights the fact that Spanish football is years ahead of English Football, and highlights the fact that the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have a lot of work to do to get to the levels of Barcelona and Real Madrid. A lot of people say the Premier League is the best League in the world but the results from the English teams in Europe this season have shown this is not the case and at the moment the top English teams are not able to compete with the cream of European football.

He was an awesome player, if nothing else.
