The original script for Alien 3 was supposedly much cooler, but ultimately too expensive to make. I think they even had a trailer going for it where the aliens make it to Earth.

The guy who wrote the original Alien 3 script lives a few houses away from me, cool story.

Fucking hell I hate Ressurection, totally ruining the glory of the other films, a nasty stain on an otherwise awesome franchise

It's hard to believe it was directed by the same guy who did Delicatessen and Amelie because those movies were fucking awesome.
