word.

The second half of Full Metal Jacket is just as good as the first.

First two Harry Potter movies are better than the rest.

Agreed 100% on the Harry Potter thing. Why pretend that Harry Potter is not entirely for kids? Fuck Cuaron for fucking it up even more than it was already fucked up.

I don't really have an opinion on the Harry Potter films other than they're all pretty average.

Part 1 of the seventh film was the best, no doubt.

Sorry, but I will not be watching another Harry Potter movie ever again if I can help it...

sum mo'
-The Insider is the only great film Michael Mann has ever made (the Luck pilot for HBO doesn't count)
-The Aviator and Gosford Park are two of the most brilliant films to come out of the 21st century
-Fritz Lang has made an American film that is better than any one of his German films
-Gone With The Wind is a piece of shit
-Ace Ventura: Pet Detective is one of the funniest films of the nineties

Okay so I saw you said this and it reminded me of a convo I was having with this chick, and her line of thinking was that the sequel is way better/funnier etc., and she implied that this was also the popular opinion. I was like :freak: 'cause I've always thought the first one is brilliant and far superior- I guess most people don't think so? Weak.

i haven't seen greenberg and it's been a while since i've seen talladega nights. tropic thunder is meh. i want to see everything must go. people like elf a lot but i hardly remember it.

oh, and it's ferrell**. i have to be pedantic about it because i used to spell his name like colin farrel's because i thought they were brothers for some reason.
