While I disagree with plenty of what Carney has to say, I would truly love to study under someone like him at some point.

Carney dislikes quite a few of my favorite directors and films, but yeah, i'd love to take a class taught by him.

Also, like him, I am waiting for Gena Rowlands to die so Alexandra Cassavettes can take over her father's estate because unlike her mother, Xan actually fucking understands her father's films and would quickly release the Ur-Shadows and early version of Faces. Gena Rowlands apparently went fucknuts just before John's death and believes that starring in movies with talking parrots in them are good ideas.

Speaking of Alexandra Cassavettes, I really need to see her documentary on The Z Channel.

Why would anyone want to see an unreleased version of Shadows? That film was such a horribly made piece of shit that I doubt any extra footage would help.
