Hm, you do have a point there. Dexter did, fairly early on too. I imagine that one would've been great with a third season ending the whole thing, maybe using the John Lithgow plot in a different way. I dunno, but it's way past its expiration date.

But Breaking Bad... Man, if they manage to keep writing episodes of this calibre, like "One Minute" and "Half/Full Measure", this show will and should be mentioned in the same breath as those other shows you mentioned. The way Walter White, mostly because of his own mistakes, has gone from being the guy you root for to being almost like the antagonist of the show, not to mention the way most of the other characters keep shifting depending on how they behave, instead of always being either 'the good guy with a minor flaw' or 'the bad guy with some redeeming features'...

Fucking brilliant.

Just another intense ending. I find that this show makes me nauseous pretty frequently, presumably from all the stress it induces.

My knees were weak and I felt really tense, watching those last ten minutes. It was by far the most thrilling moment of the show so far. At that point, anything could have happened. I mean, I was actually preparing for Gus to unload his gun into Walt mid-sentence during his "You can't kill me!" speech. I realize that would have been too easy a resolution to that conflict, and wouldn't have happened anyway since the series will continue for one final season, but still...

Damn, that show. Mild spoiler, but having the barrel imprint in Walt's forehead was a really cool. Mild spoilers continued, but for the first time in, I believe, this entire season Walt didn't do anything to piss me off and I was able to pull for him 100%.

Seriously feel queasy, sweating and even have tears in my eyes just from the tension. This was very much a setup for the finale, but I still couldn't breathe through most of it. This show is so good I routinely forget there are more episodes in this SEASON, let alone a final batch coming next year. I seriously kept anticipating someone major being killed despite this being the penultimate episode and despite them needing to get Walt to the next season. You really feel that he or Gus or Jesse or Skyler or Hank or anyone will die at any moment. My plans to do homework now are shot.

My prediction for the next episode is that Mike saves Jesse (or at least does something very significant).

Bold/stupid prediction: Hank is going to catch Gus, probably with Walt's help, possibly with Walt's admission of guilt. And he's going to do it next week.

Does anyone here think Walt was responsible for poisoning the kid?
