Watched the first episode; it was decently entertaining. I'll at least watch a few more episodes. But I hope it quickly becomes apparent what the show is supposed to be about, and that they not rely too much on Breaking Bad related tie-ins to maintain interest.

Loving it so far. Great visuals, Odenkirk's on form, and the tone is reminiscent of BB's lighter bits, which is fine by me.

What's not to like?

So are the majority of people here not watching this because the buzz initially gotten from Breaking Bad wore off? Asking cos I haven't seen an ep either

I think that is a large reason. Most of the people who were big fans of the show have sorta turned off it. But yeah, Jonathan Banks was incredible in that episode. So much depth added to his character.

They have? Why? It's a great show.

I meant to say "on this forum" and I've got no idea to be honest, there was a discussion in the Breaking Bad vs. Game of Thrones thread

The cinematography in this show is some of the best I've seen on television. The story hasn't done much to surprise me yet, but it's at least doing a good job of fleshing out its characters.

The story seems to be developing finally. It's taken almost an entire season for things to really get into motion. Maybe a little too slow for some viewers and I can understand that. Of course you're gonna have the BB fans that think the show about a lawyer is going to be as action packed and intense as BB was.

I'm enjoying the show a lot and it seems these last 2 episodes of the season are going to get things really rolling.

Yeah I can't wait for next week. But man, Chuck's betrayal was heartbreaking to watch. Jimmy never seems to get a break, just gets shat on every episode.

edit: SPOILERS also loved the contrast between Mike's "law =/= morality" speech and Chuck's "law = sacred" speech.

So damn, it's over for another year
Magnificent first season, I thought the spin-off was gonna turn out a bit tacky and forced at times but nope, Gilligan has done it again. And you gotta love the tie-ins with Breaking Bad as well (Jimmy's pinky ring, and the whole Kevin Costner joke  ). Great start to the show. I wonder how they're gonna work in Mike starting to work for Gus.
