I always associate The Sopranos theme song and the Entourage theme song, which sucks because I hate Jane's Addiction.

Quick quiz to show which TV clan you are a member of. What percentage of your day is spent humming song (a) vs song (b)?

(a)

(b)

#1 easily. My reaction to hearing #2 is not unlike Don's - mild arousal and severe embarrassment.

you can all mark my words and thank me when it premieres on april 22nd.

Ianucci and Chris Morris, motherfuckers

Premiere was good, not spectacular (i.e. not as funny as In the Loop but still funny). Am hopeful.

Guilty pleasure: BBC costume dramas. What I watch when John is doing homework or I am awake all night with insomnia

Favorite films: Evening, The Hours, It Happened One Night, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Dr. Strangelove, Roman Holiday, Casino Royale, Lord of the Rings, V for Vendetta, North and South.

I found Bruno pretty much unwatchable.

not really, i've heard things about the Wire. I'd watch Mad Men, it's also on AMC and also brilliant but a very different show. Maybe you'd like Boardwalk Empire and Sons of Anarchy? I haven't watched them myself but i've heard good things.

What do you mean "not really"? The Wire is definitely up there, as is Mad Men. Boardwalk Empire is also great. Sons of Anarchy was good up until when they went to Ireland, which just dragged on and on to the point where I lost all interest. First two seasons are great, though.

I haven't watched the Wire, so I can't attest.
