I fucking love everything about this show, and honestly I love it even more than Adventure Time now, and it's worth noting that the creator Rebecca Sugar used to work on AT as a writer, songwriter and storyboard artist.

Also, this has to be the most LGBT positive kids show to date.

Favorite character? Pearl.

I don't think you'll like it more than Adventure Time, not sure what you'll make of it.

It's nowhere near as random as Adventure Time, though like Adventure Time it starts out rather episodic but eventually develops a story arc, and it's weird but not as weird as Adventure Time, the art style is pretty unique and the character designs are rather unusual and I'm sure it's not for everybody, but I really love the art style personally and it has some of the best background art I've ever seen in a cartoon and I really love the use of light colors which are inspired by Yoshi's Island and the Kirby games. It has a pretty strong anime influence as well.

The music is great too, obviously.

It probably also holds the record for most crying in a cartoon that's not an anime, it's an emotional show to say the least, it's a much needed contrast to the more postmodern nature of other CN shows.

Also this show is very queer, the overtones aren't always subtle, and considering how much of a puritan you are these days I don't know if that will bother you.
