I think Omar is fairly realistic but the way in which he dies is also realistic. Gunned down by what he least expects. Hard to kill a smart man when he knows shit is coming.

I have a question. I seem to remember that at some point in the show that they showed Bill Rawls in a gay bar. Like the camera made a point to pan over to him as Brother Mouzone's lackie walked on. Was this revelation ever revisited, or was this the only mention of Rawl's sexuality?

Only mention. I think they may have thought about doing more with it but decided not to.

When Bubbles throws up on Jay Landsmann, and he's cleaning himself up in the toilet, there's some grafiti that says "Rawls sucks cock" which I guess is sort of a reference to that, if unintentional.

yeah there's a fair bit of innuendo surrounding rawls' sexuality in the series. there was another innuendo that i can't quite remember. i'll go and try find it
