D'angelo: I was actually going to start an olympics for animals.
Michael: What happened?
D'angelo: Oh, you know, life happened.

I thought the Dundies episode had a ton of laugh-out-loud moments. My favorite part was Michael and Deangelo Jeremetrius Vickers' video intro. "Dude, I totally don't know where Michael is. Wanna listen to some records?"

Michael's finale was really well done, very somber but also tasteful.

"I'm not much of a performer...unless you count singing in the shower!"

I also liked in the thing with the bread-sticks being like crack, and how it hinted that Pam and Ryan have had this huge anger towards each other bubbling under the surface for a while, because as far as I can recall it's never been portrayed in a major way. I laughed at that

Sad episode but a very good one. Not sure how I feel about watching episodes without him in it.

me neither, show won't be the same. Did anybody else notice the homage to the original title sequence where Michael Scott adjusts the dundie award on his desk?

Yeah, I did notice that, pretty great. I also think Michael and Pam's goodbye was sort of an homage to the Tim and Dawn's goodbye in the UK Office. In the final episode of the UK Office Tim takes off his microphone and goes and hugs (maybe kisses? I can't remember) Dawn before she leaves for the US.

This episode was much better than the last one. The Office doesn't need Michael to continue, its not like this was The Michael Scott Show after all, but the last episode felt like it needed to get rid of Deangelo suddenly and in a way so that he'd never return.

I didn't like the Deangelo episodes. The writers tried really hard to make us hate him, and the character became more cartoonish and incompetent as the episodes wore on.

For once I'm actually excited for next weeks episode of the Office. I mean, Creed as acting manager? COME ON. That is too awesome.

On the other hand, isn't this also going to be the episode with all those guest appearances? I can't see how that's gonna work out well....

Yeah I didn't like the episodes with Will Ferril. Last new episode was really good. Creed has always been one of my favorites so this should be interesting.

I've been saying forever that there needs to be an episode completely dedicated to Creed. So pleased.
