Happens a little differently in the book than in the show. Everything in the book is POV, so you see him die through Arya's eyes. Like I said, I threw my book in the garbage.

not a spoiler, just an opinion: i think tyrion and jon and dany are the 3 safe characters for the whole series imo. everyone else is fair game. i figure arya's probably safe too. but the first group is the big 3.

Yeah. It was funny because I was rewatching with my sister and her boyfriend and her favorite characters were Denarys, Drogo, and Ned in that order. When they both died she said "if Denarys dies I'm not watching this show anymore." I also liked Drogo a lot.

Great first episode. Favorite scene was Tyrion and Cercie in the small counsel chamber. Also love Robb making all of the right strategic moves (whether they work or not is an open question but that's exactly what he needed to do).

She is so fucking hot. That scene in the first episode where she gets into the bath is just...(sorry hard to type with one hand). It's funny too because they've got the worst picture of her on her wikipedia page. She's ridiculously hot and is one of those women who looks even better in motion than in photos. Find a good picture.

The scene right before with Joffrey was awesome too. Just the look on his face when he saw his uncle. Priceless :cool:

every scene where joffrey gets slapped

one of my favorite scenes in season 1 is when tyrion slaps joffrey twice at winterfell with the hound looking on. i don't think the hound likes joffrey too much.

No I don't think he does either. And Sherick is right the scene before with Tyrion and Joffrey was awesome. Was very much looking forward to him coming in and saying he was hand of the king to both Joffrey and Cercei. And I actually kind of liked how Sansa behaved in that scene.

Sansa is a much better character in A Clash of Kings than A Game of Thrones.

she's a petulant bitch in game of thrones.

it was a good episode. it introduced all of the story lines and new characters well. so now that that's out of the way i expect the other episodes to be better.

i'm looking forward to the brienne introduction. hopefully next week.

I wonder how hideous she'll be. Or if they'll just skip over that part and make her hot as hell because that's what the target audience wants to see lol.

And yes, she is a complete cunt through GoT, but with CoK, she matures and becomes much more "Stark"-like.

nah brienne isn't hot. she's in a couple brief shots in some teaser trailers. i thought she looked the part. the actress is over 6 feet tall i think, and somewhat built, which is good. and her hair is short. i think they also applied makeup to make her uglier. her first scene in the book is badass. i hope it's same in the show.
