I love the books and so far this series has been a damn fine adaptation. I wasn't too sure after watching the first episode, but the second convinced me that the rest will be fucking awesome.

Reading the first book now - ordered the entire set for $20 off amazon. About 100 pages deep so far (just got the books today). I want to catch up to the show by Sunday, which won't be too hard.

Watched the first two episodes after some rave recommendations by some friends, could see myself getting really into it. Will watch 3 and 4 in the next couple days to confirm.

avoided watching it so far, though i sneak a peek here and there from clips on the internet. gonna watch it all next monday straight through in one day. i'm fucking excited. i finished feast for crows the other day too so i'm ready for dance with dragons.

i watched it all yesterday. pretty good. some of the actors suck though. it probably would have been way better to watch on a large tv than on my tiny mac.

i like arya in the show a lot more than i like her in the books even though she is still pretty cool in the books. sansa is a little bitch. jesus christ. and robb and jon are pretty badass in the show. daenarys sucks at acting. cersei was good though. i hard gerard butler is stannis in clash of kings. i don't know if that's true. i forgot all about renly and loras and their manlove. the wall was fucking awesome. i still can't wait for clash of kings.

But she's HOT as balls. I think it's difficult to act as Daenarys in GoT - she's such a naive little twit.

It's hard to call her a naive twit after that last episode.

She may be learning everything on the fly, but she's learning it very fast. For what it's worth, I think Clarke has done a very good job of selling that.

Well that's the thing, she matures a lot faster than another naive twit within the books - Sansa. Jesus christ, does ANYONE like Sansa? I hate reading her chapters.
