I don't see anyway Big should be over SPR. I'd argue the same for Philadelphia as well.

For O'Toole, Lion in Winter should be #1 or 2, and Ruling Class should be over Beckett.

I'd probably bump DeNiro's Godfather II performance up a notch or two.

Dead Man! I knew I forgot something. I'm not sure if that could take B&J or not though...

For Day-Lewis, i'd have Age of Innocence higher, probably above Room with a View... The showcasing of this very subtle surface acting which he rarely showcased before or after to the same degree, i'd say it beats the entertaining but somehow caricated Cecil... That's about it...

Phillip Seymour Hoffman:

1. Capote
2. Doubt
3. Flawless
4. The Savages
5. Charlie Wilson's War
6. Before the Devil Knows You're Dead
7. Magnolia
8. Owning Mahowny
9. Mission: Impossible III
10. Red Dragon (know his part was very small, but he was real authentic in that one scene in which he was in focus)

Its some time since i saw Beautiful Mind, but i remembered it as easily his best, better than The Insider and DEFINITELY better than Gladiator...

A Beautiful Mind is cheesy to the point of being cringe-inducing.

I suppose it hasn't occured to you that the performance of the lead fucking actor can add to the percieved "cheesiness" of a film.
