an absolutely brilliant guitarist and a personal favorite....

Im gonna have to agree with Stargazer too for solo, that's probably my fave metal song ever...Gates of Babylon I really like too , and cant beat DP classics like Child in Time and Highway Star

Highway Star from MiJ is also one of my favourite ones. :)
I forgot to mention Lazy. I feel it never gets enough credit. Definitely one of my top DP songs.

Deep Purple played it at their concert in Belgium last year. It was great. Strange set list though; Hush for example. They didn't need to promote their "new" album as much as the first time I saw them. :)

Why Didn't Rosemary kicks ass! I never thought anyone else would mention any Mark 1 Purple stuff, it's soooooooo underrated. Good call.
