I'm not even gonna go here with you.
He's not as skilled and flashy as Blackmore or as versatile and concise as Beck.....but raw intensity was pretty much his trademark.

Im not going anywhere. I guess we just have different views on what intensity means. Wont argue about passion though, he has plenty of that (in those ever so rare moments when he's really ON).

This is the kind of guitar playing that inspires me:

I wanna learn how to play like that.

Should work, try again.

In the meantime, here's another player I gotta hear more from:

The world needs more guitarists like Wayne Krantz.

I fixed that for ya! :thumb:  :tiphat: But good for Krantz, he can play scales up and down, bravo! Where is phrasing? Wher.....ah, this is pointless. People like that? Good for them!. But he should be playing that in his bedroom and not on stage. Boring scale exercise repetitions with a few generic licks, baaaaah. This guy cant solo. He sounds like that homeless dude on my street corner playing for change. :snacks:

You might of seen this video as its the first result you get for krantz on youtube but its got some great playing him in there and he talks about his approach a bit too. Im a big fan of his, his style is totally unique. I don't think ive heard anyone like him out there.

Yeah, I've seen that one many times. I was so happy when I found this show on Dime a few years ago:

If only he could phrase and solo.

Hahahahaha, oooh, good one. Thanks, I needed a good laugh. You know, even if didn't (I guess in that case I wouldn't be making a nice living out of it for the past 20 years...) at least I could say that I have good taste in it, which is more than can be said about you. Your love for generic guitarists and/or wankers (Yng...right. Says it all) is well documented. :thumb:
