There are much more deserving Maiden solos, most notably Prodigal Son.
But also, Phantom Of The Opera and Revelations.

Its a cool solo but I dont really think its that special.

Imo best IM solos...

1. Prodigal Son
2. Powerslave
3. Strange World
4. Seventh Son
5. Stranger In A Strange Land

Well for me the song the solo is in makes a difference if there's a cool build up to the solo and if the solo fits really well with what the song is about. The solo doesn't have to be really complex or whatever.

I know it doesnt have to be complex, but I dont think the build-up should affect the quality of a solo...

Also, The Fugitive is another killer from Maiden...

I dunno, what about the almost never-ending suspense before the solo in Whole Lotta Love? That definitely adds to the solo.
