What is mind-numbing is this forum´s lack of respect to rock guitar from the last 20+ years.

I honestly dont know how it's possible that you've been spouting this for like....over 6 months. It's just ridiculous to me. Dont you have anything else you want to discuss? Because all I've seen from you so far has been pretty much just spamming and pointless trolling....
We're all fans of ROCK GUITAR on this forum, and there is so much to discuss about it, and "grunge vs. shredders" sure as fuck isn't relevant anymore.
Can we move on? Let's talk about how incredible Peter Green is or something. Check his thread actually, right now.

-Yours faithfully,
NC

Suggesting that Radiohead didn't create two of the best ten guitar solos of all time is disrespect? Suggesting that we think the there are more than six solos out of millions that are better than The Bends is disrespect. Shut the fuck up man.

that's very good, especially for a first try!
my main constuctive criticism is you should try to bring out the melody more... even though i can hear you already do it, but you still sound too "polite" playing it...
i never rest my pinky (that's mostly a habit of lute players), but if it helps anchor your hand and doesn't take away from its abilities, go for it... whatever works!

i think when i become more comfortable with the tune thorugh practice, the melody will come out more. thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it.

Well, I think that Radiohead has dominated rock guitar for more than 15 years now, so I don´t see why it would be wrong to have many Greenwood´s solos in the top 10. If you think about it, no other rock guitarist has dominated for so many years.

I haven't said that. All I say is he doesn't have such supremacy that he deserves two solos in the top ten of ALL TIME. Do you think he does?

No, it's you who has a lack of respect for recent rock guitar playing, by forcing concepts from prior decades onto a field of musicianship that is far more broad than you're willing to give it credit.

Nice tune, but if this is in the top 10 NME list of all time - can somebody tell me where the guitar solo actually is?
