It Was 50 Years Ago Today (Rock Guitar Timeline)

The purpose of this list is to celebrate the great rock guitar songs that we all love. In addition, this list will help as a rock guitar timeline. I will add a song exactly 50 years after it was originally released.

Any suggestions to add a song will be appreciated, but as any list on DDD, this one have a criteria: Lasting Popularity, Influence, Creativity and Originality.

I wish they would just stop. I am not picking sides on this. Echoes also needs to stop.

Okay, you are right about this particular thread. But your posts in greatest guitar albums are not better than posts by Bones or Stryder.

Aug 1963 - Mike Berry and the Outlaws "A Tribute To Buddy Holly" reaches No.17 UK Charts ... Blackmore on lead guitar

Aug 1963 - Heinz Birt reaches #5 in the UK with the tune "Just Like Eddie" a tribute to Eddie Cochrane .... Ritchie Blackmore on lead guitar

Nov 1963 - Heinz Birt "Country Boy" reaches No.26 UK Charts/No.29 Australian Charts .... Blackmore on lead guitar

... the same could be done with Jimmy Page from this time period ..

But does those songs scores high enough based on the criteria? Also, the songs should be posted exactly 50 years after their release.
