I think All My Love would be good for the Page list as well.

Guys with long careers, like Clapton and Blackmore, are gonna be damn near impossible.

For the riffage? Looks good to me. Though if its for lead work as well, Kick the Chair could get a spot on there.

It's for everything considered, or 'complete guitar compositions'.

Kick The Chair's riff is fucking sick though. Good call!

And as an overall performance, Black Sabbath doesn't need to be there. The riff is legendary, but that's essentially the entire song, those three notes.

No, the faster riff leading into the fast part is legendary as well, as is the solo itself.

Planet Caravan? Interesting choice, I guess that one could make it.

Heaven And Hell probably.

Children Of The Grave? Nah, though the riff is monstrous.

yeah , and essential would mean it could be due to its influence/impact as well ... and Black Sabbath definitely has that...

Sort of, but not that big of a deal. And most people don't even know the song has a solo. Calling all that "legendary" is an enormous stretch. Iron Man is far and away closer to all that stuff.

So can we put Mustaine's on the front page? Or do we want more comments?
