I've heard those 2 are the only noteworthy albums by them.

Whoever told you that was wrong.
The second album, Pilgrimage, is awesome and damn near as good as those two.
Live Dates is also a pretty stellar live album.

for Yousha, since you liked the two other tracks from Paseo de Gracia... not so much a guitar showcase, but a wonderful song...

i did say I was going to get the album, and I did it immediately. So thanks for this George, but I've heard it. and yes, a very pleasant song, I love the subtle and melodic approach to flamenco as much as the frantic high tempo stuff. Plus, flamenco singing is just brilliant. Also, the guitar is magnificent in this, so doesnt always need to be a showcase.

I know Paco has some albums with a singer, but all i've heard is entres dos aguas. help George ?

that singer being camaron de la isla? they recorded a whole bunch of albums together in the 1970s... i can't recommend which are best because i've only heard a couple of them and that was some years ago. maybe you can enlighten me if you manage to get through them (-:

The only major drawback is the idiotic net speed I have. but yeah, I think I'll see the ones i can get hold of, wikipedia should help identify the albums hes done with Camaron.

thanks, rashed... though i think the rock list is even better, considering it's probably the most discussed and edited of all ddd lists.

by the way, there is a small but growing online movement from robbie basho fans to attempt to reach pete townshend (a friend of robbie and big fan), whose influence may be indispensable in trying to extract the remnants of robbie's work (both finished and unfinished) from "sufism reoriented" (both pete and robbie were members of the organization). if anyone knows any way of doing it (via twitter or other ways), it would be appreciated.

I do believe there's room for Glenn Branca on this list.
