throw it around the end. He has far better stuff in the 80s in my opinion, but no official live album. You asked for notable omissions, and no Moore album in the top 100 seemed wrong.

also, something by Roy Buchanan - American Axe live 1974 or live in japan 78 , is essential....

edit: just saw the buchanan album. apologies.....

Great list. I certainly cannot argue about your #1. Makes me long again for the 70's. My personal favorites on your list are #6, Deep Purple Made in Japan, and #12, Johnny Winter and Live. The dueling guitars of Johnny vs Rick Derringer on "it's my own fault", make it one of my favorite blues performances. :thumb:

Winter and Derringer are spectacular together.
That version of Johnny B. Goode is just to die for.

+ Live Evil - Black Sabbath

I reckon Scorpions Tokyo tapes could be a bit higher. Certainly a greater and better live guitar album than Cheap Trick Live at Buddakan. Uli is/was a monster live.

Uli was a beast indeed. Highway, have you heard his solo in "Catch Your Train"? One of his best.

70's Scorpions FTW!

I love that I still get called Highway...ah nostalgia! And yes, I just listened to that a couple hrs ago. Awesome. I think my faves of his are "We'll Burn the Sky" and "Sails of Charon". Taken by Force has to be one of the most underrated hard rock albums from the 70s.

Yes!! Though I like some of their 80s stuff, their early shit is WAYY better!!
