For films from 1919 to the beginning of narrative fiction films.

Here, I definitely know what my #1 is, Broken Blossoms from 1919 - which IMO is DW Griffith's best film and Lillian Gish's best role. #2 is probably Intolerance, and #3 is Georges Melies' "A Trip to the Moon". After that? Dunno.
