Absolutely no depth to speak of.
But then neither does Singin in the Rain.

There's about as much depth as in the original scriptwise. Since its not the original medium, it's more shallow though.

good point drew, which is why I still keep it as my favorite movie since it's main goal for me is to make me feel good. But even then, it's a pictorially beautifully shot movie with songs I can return to. I guess I should just ask that then, if it at least looks good. Plus singin in the rain still has stood up over the years, scott pilgrim has flash in the pan vibes written all over it. That being said, I should probably see it before I say anything else.

Scott Pilgrim was the most fun I had watching a film since Fantastic Mr. Fox.

Haven't seen Scott Pilgrim, all I know is that I spied some Deaf N0at cosplay in the trailer. Fantastic Mr. Fox is wonderful.

By now I think I've watched Fantastic Mr. Fox twenty times and I still enjoy it just as much.
