Yeah I'm pretty sure this is going to be his last Batman film. I agree with you about him being strongest when he writes with his brother, but I don't think he should write all of his films with him. Just look at Inception. Granted it's *i think* his first original film since Following in '98, but it's considered by many to be his strongest film yet even though I know you'll disagree.

He confirmed when TDK came out that he planned on making three. He even pulled a TR and promised he would step down after three.

Yep, read so in the big section they dedicated to him in Empire mag. Even if you didn't like Inception, the amount of work put into it can still be appreciated... I personally enjoyed all of it :P

Thought both of the Batman films sucked donkey bollocks personally. Loved Memento and The Prestige though.

Yep. The only one I can recall somewhat enjoying was Watchmen, but even that is a bit of a guilty pleasure. It's camp as hell and has piss-poor pacing. Not to mention one of the lamest sex scenes ever.

As I said, it was still a pretty lame movie. I just didn't find it quite as lame as something like Iron Man.

tho at least Iron Man had Robert Downey Jr for wise crackin amusements and never for once took themselves too seriously. Watchmen on the other hand did and ended up being gayer than what it should have been.
