This is cool. I think it might be cool to one day break the list down into sub-genres: greatest slashers, italian, zombie, cult etc...idk, it might be helpful.

Good idea, I've been working on a top 100 zombie films but have been struggling to make it to 100 and tried to make a top giallo films a while back, but also struggled, so doing a smaller subgenre list for these would be awesome. I'll have a think about some and post some later.

doesn't have to be top 100 for the subgenres. probably a top 50 would do. although if you're really inclined to do so, top 100 would be awesome

I'm just going to assume that Last House To The Left, The Descent, Let The Right One In and the Cannibal Holocaust made it in.

Alright, alright, it was only a draft.

I dunno, [REC] had a lot more acclaim and generally has a lot more credibility among horror fans than 28 Days Later. I know 28 Days Later is a lot more popular, but I find comparing popularity of American films and foreign films odd. [REC] is extremely popular for a foreign film amongst western film watchers.

I'm also in agreement with 28 Days Later... being placed above REC.

The "Fuck you, Avery" was in response to 28 Days Later being under [REC].
