I think they should have their own separate list. They are so culturally different, in terms of visuals and the world they manoeuvre in compared to their Western counterparts

I'd flip X-Men and X2. Also, I'm not sure Hellboy is quite Top 10-worthy. I'd put it under Batman Begins, probably.

i debated that one a lot. i welcome any disagreement with any of the choices. there is a weird grey area of supernatural vs what we think of as the traditional superhero.

I think the first X-Men should be higher. It pretty much started the modern wave of more serious comicbook movies.

Definitely. That film doesn't get enough credit because it was eclipsed by Spider-Man two years later.
