i didn't hate it but thought it was dull... my girlfriend liked it and said she could relate especially after going to japan by herself and experiencing the same thing herself... so, perhaps it's a matter of experience, of having been in those shoes once at least... (or maybe not...)

Not a western, but I wonder what you'd think of Peckinpah's real masterpiece imo, Straw Dogs. If you ever get around to it, let me know what you think.

reservoir dogs was fucking awesome when i rewatched it a few weeks ago. same with miami vice a couple months ago, which was the first time i watched it all the way through since in the theater.

The 400 Blows. Saw it last week and got in love with it. I thought it was overrated but I was so wrong. Great film.
