I loled in Sokurov's The Second Circle, which is - in the great Russian tradition - super super serious

so this guy's dad is dead and the film is about the horrible bureaucratic process of getting a guy buried in some snowy shithole in Siberia. at a certain point this huge, loud, lesbian-looking chick comes in, bosses the kid around and suggests the corpse wear lace stockings and the poor guy is like "but.... he's a man?"

I think it was because of how cartoonish and fake the burns looked. Had they not made his eye so large it might have been different.

The scene in Lifeforce when the dessicated zombie crashes into the prison bars and explodes into a cloud of dust.

The scene in Resident Evil: Apocalypse when Milla crashes through the stained glass window on a motorcycle.

The first Twilight movie is pretty much full of these, wall to wall.

It's a travesty that a character as awesomely iconic as Darth Vader is now tied to one of the most infamous unintentionally hilarious moments in film history. A travesty, I tell you!

I didn't laugh when I saw that Darth Vader scene. I was not amused. Not amused at all.

I didn't find anything funny about that scene, it was more like that old guy was trying to be funny but given the context of the scene it definitely wasn't.

However seeing the words "refrigerator puppeteer" in the end credits while that dramatic music is playing, THAT was fucking funny.
