Same criteria as other lists. This list contains movies that are generally considered to be so horrible, they develop a cult following or become praised for their poor quality.

In no particular order, here are some movies I think should be included:

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
Troll 2
Every single Ed Wood movie ever made
The Incredible Melting Man
Teenagers from Outer Space
Manos: The Hands of Fate
The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!?

Manos is too funny. I think they should make you study that in film school to learn what not to do.

This is a short film from the Vancouver Film School. It doesn't belong on the list since it's amateur film-making and it obviously, hasn't had a cult following. But I felt like posting it here since it is in the same vein as many of the terrible aforementioned films. It is perfectly awful.

Someone else has seen that cinematic masterpiece :godbless:

I'm surprised that The Room hasn't been mentioned yet, even though there are only 4 posts before this one.

I just looked it up. It seems horrible, but I don't know if it should be on here if it was intentionally made to be bad. I considered adding "Black Sheep", but I'm still not sure for exactly that reason.

On a different note, I'm surprised I forgot completely about the piece of shit known as Battlefield Earth!

It really required multiple viewings to really see everything. But I'm not sure I can make it through the whole movie without the Mystery Science Theater 3000 commentary.

Battlefield is just bad. Not even in a fun way. Anything related to "best" should not have reference to that thing.

STFU!!!!!!!!!

It's a parody of b horror movies sure, but since it actually features genuinely clever writing, funny gags, some actually scary moments (for the younger intended audience), a kickass Jerry Goldsmith score and some great puppet work, it's FAR from a bad movie itself. It succeeded entirely at what it was aiming for, and that was a cute and clever parody.

I personally prefer the sequel though, it took the cartoony humour and amped it up to fucking 11. You haven't lived until you've seen the Gremlins do their own musical rendition of New York, New York.
