White Chicks.

I know it's a shamless ripoff of the vastly superior Some Like it Hot, but I can't help but laugh. Terry Crews owns every scene he's in.

I think any time he was on scene was the only time I laughed.

Small Soldiers is considered a bad film?? That's one of my favourite childhood movies.

what's the consensus on adam sandler movies? new ones like zohan, grownups, etc look awful and irredeemable, but what about older ones? happy gilmore and billy madison, or big daddy. i also enjoyed the longest yard remake a lot. i used to love those and i imagine i'd still enjoy some of them today. they can't be compared to his recent shit.

happy gilmour and billy madison are great, imo, but part of my love for them may be influenced by nostalgia at this point.

I thought Batman Returns was a legitimately good comic book movie.

Forever on the other hand is a good choice for this thread.

Cool World comes to mind. It has terrible (TERRIBLE) acting from usually credible actors, a plot that makes absolutely no sense, a clusterfuck of cartoon extras on crystal meth, sets that seem to be made out of cardboard cutouts, inconsistant animation that is sometimes pretty good but other times pretty lousy and probably the cheapest looking live action/animation interaction ever. On the other hand it also has some amazing and surreal background art and a really cool techno soundtrack.

That and the random craziness makes it a pretty fun watch.

Is Ace Ventura considered bad? I think they are two of the funniest films of the '90s. So those.

They're not gonna win any awards in writing or direction, but those kinda comedies are all about the gags, and how much people enjoy those two movies depends almost entirely on how much they like Carrey's shtick. Critics hated it, but they like John Cassavetes. HAHA! You thought I was done with that didn't you? You thought WRONG! CASSAVETES STILL SUCKS!!!

I still enjoy both Ace Ventura movies
