last one. i worshiped PJ back in high school, had all the albums up through Riot Act and a bunch of shows (most of which were officially released but i also had a couple traded ones) then stopped listening to them completely, and then decided to go to a show with my friend basically for nostalgic purposes and their live show was so great that it made me a fan again and i listened to the new albums.

oh, plus Ten may actually be their worst album. which makes sense, considering they hadn't been a band very long and it really wasn't a collective creation but a result of Eddie sticking his lyrics/vocals over already-written songs from Jeff/Stone. certainly their most historically important, but imo their least exciting album.

i think i haven't heard anything they've done in the 00's, but I think their 90's output was solid

I bought every PJ album from the start (although I only bought Ten later, not when it was new) through 1999 when my record collection got flooded out. I liked Vs. and Vitalogy WAY more than Ten.

Their whole discography... I've found some interesting picks from pretty much all of their albums, including Riot Act. Their self-titled and Binaural were pretty dull though, iirc.

Riot Act is easily my most listened to Pearl Jam album.

The last Pearl Jam album that wasn't Ten I tried listening to was the self titled 6 years ago.

I voted "Yeah, a couple of them", but it might just be Vs.. I'm not sure if I've listened to Vitalogy all the way through or not.

Replace the word "Pearl Jam" with "Hockey" and I would find that to be a very agreeable statement.

Voted "Yeah, a couple of them". Ten is definitely my favorite album by PJ, but I've listened through Vs. a couple times and Vitalogy probably 5 or 6 times.
