started to make a poll just for early acoustic cuts and then was gonna make one for chicago and modern blues and blah blah but then realized maybe they wouldn't be very popular polls so im just making one and picked out some of my absolute favs from various styles. left off a few of my favorites because i've already included them in past polls ("Hellhound on My Trail", "Pride and Joy", "Death Letter", and "Dark Was the Night, Cold Was the Ground"). also limited it to one per artist or else i would have put about half a dozen Skip James tracks on here.

"Special Rider Blues" by Skip James

"One Way Out" by Elmore James

"Aberdeen Mississippi Blues" by Bukka White

"Money" by John Lee Hooker

"Jesus Gonna Make Up My Dying Bed" as performed by Josh White

"Good Morning Little Schoolgirl" as performed by Junior Wells' Chicago Blues Band
