I think this is one of the better features about the lists, actually. By including soul/hip hop/funk/electronic etc.., the lists are much better than if they were just a 100 guitar bands.

There are rock lists that include electronic songs on this site?

Well, the thinking behind that is the earliest roots of rock is essentially the very same as the earliest r'n'b. I agree that is is kinda genre bending but it's pretty logical. Everything that's clearly descended from the early roots rock gets included. Sure, when everyone hears the term "rock" they think of guitar bands, but I think a list that has all those different styles is way more valuable. If someone wants the guitar bands, they can look at the hard rock list of whatever.



I dunno about songs, but stuff like Kraftwerk is considered rock for the purposes of the lists.

I went with "Other" for Electronic music.

Folk. Followed closely by Electronica (for which I would've selected "other")

Rap then electronic then guitary stuff for me, I think.

Folk, then jazz, then classical. Somewhere in between probably pop, whatever that may be.
