 the Radiohead one just can't be topped imo, the ironic setting of it, that beetlejuice shit thom is wearing, everything about it is so awkarwdly funny. I'd give the other one to the NIN one that surfaced.

Another one I thought was hilarious was that infamous Muse one

Yeah, I thought of that clip and it was between that Muse one, and this Muse one, but I decided to leave both off.

another one that nearly made it is this clip of Robert Wyatt and Nick Mason playing "I'm A Believer" on "Top of the Pops", but two proggy proto-alt rock TOTP performances was kind of overkill.

Nevertheless, there's a shit-ton of weird ToTP performances, but I decided on the weirdness of Can playing (yes, even though they're playing the very poppy "I Want More") over all of them.

Wasn't that an homage to Nirvana doing something similar?

Yes, I'd say so. Anyway, both of those videos are so priceless.

Radiohead's video was the best of the choices in the poll. The irony during the ending is just...

Yorke's expression and reactions throughout that performance is amazing

Was just about to post that. I love how they just roll into a pile at the end during the song while the credits roll.

The Grateful Dead on Playboy After Dark in 1969 kind of fits into this poll.

Yeah. I mean, for musical guests for that show, they're not out-of-place, but its the show itself that makes it weird as opposed to the performer choice

Didn't Nirvana have a really bizarre TV appearance where Kurt Cobain sings Smells Like Teen Spirit like a stoned Jim Morrison?
