"Better Man" is one of my faves from PJ, but those Nirvana tunes are just epic. Nirvana it is.

Shit... this one's hard, but after some thinking, I'm gonna have to go with Nirvana.

two of PJ's better slowjams, but seeing as how PJ slowjams suck hard balls, i'm gonna say Nirvana fairly easy on the strength of Rape Me alone.

I don't think there's a Pearl Jam song out there I like better than a Nirvana song, so Nirvana.

sidenote: i hate that Pearl Jam is thought of as a bombastic "rock anthem" band. i would recommend any of these: Satan's Bed, Spin the Black Circle, Animal, Brain of J, Do the Evolution or Lukin. they are a much better heavy punk band than anything else.

Better Man and Black are two of my favorite PJ songs but they're still not going to be beat Nirvana.

Eh. I've always thought of PJ as the most traditional rock band out of the 4. Soundgarden and AIC with a metal sound and Nirvana with the Pixies punk influence.

Black>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>All Aplogies>>>Better Man>>>>>>>>Rape Me

Huge gaps in the songs, I really dont like Rape me much, Black is a top 50 all time song without question, and All Apologies is my favorite Nirvana Song

'Black' is Pearl Jam's best song, hands down. I feel the same about 'All Apologies' for Nirvana, and their second song destroys Pearl Jam's, so Nirvana
