I voter for Priest, but now I see I overlook Maiden who would surely get my vote had I seen it.

Death closely followed by Mercyful Fate.

Haven't heard all of these combos but it has to be either Agalloch or Opeth. Agalloch has two of those in my top 5 while Opeth has one. Opeth has all three in my top 10 while Ashes Against the Grain trails the pack a bit but is still awesome. Those are the strongest three for both artists. If I had to rank them I'd go The Mantle; Blackwater Park; Marrow of the Spirit; My Arms, Your Hearse; Still Life; Ashes Against the Grain. It is insanely close but I think I'll go Agalloch by a hair. Maiden and Priest are close. I like the bookend Priest albums better than any Maiden album in there (my favorite Maiden trio is self-titled-The Number of the Beast) but I like all of the Maiden albums significantly more than Sin after Sin. Isis and Metallica deserve shout outs too. The Death set is decent. Slayer kind of blows.

Death because I find the entre albums very good. Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica I mainly like the best songs a great deal. Don't know the others well enough.

My Moonsorrow fanboyism comes into play here.

1. Moonsorrow
2. Death
3. Opeth
4. Agalloch
5. Metallica
6. Neurosis
7. Atheist
8. Iron Maiden
9. Slayer

Haven't heard all 3 albums of the others, but Morbid Angel and Judas Priest would be at the bottom of my list.

havent heard them all, but knowing my love for classic metal, and Priest being my fave metal band, and 2 of those albums in my all time top 25 possibly, it has to be Priest

edit : Neurosis intrigues me much, especially seeing how they made an album and paired it with an ambient album to play along with it, with exactly the same song lengths, now thats dedication !!
