In what world can you actually just vote on something without complaining?

The idea that this is somehow split down the middle is absurd. This isn't to say the two songs may not have lyrics of equal quality. But one has the much greater reputation than the other.

I'm going It's Alright Ma because it's much more concise, and manages to keep my attention for the whole duration.

Oh well good.

Anyone else think Tangled Up In Blue is his best? Maybe not from a technical perspective but fuck all that, to me its his most engaging and memorable.

I'd say Tangled is his best real narrative. It is very captivating, but I wouldn't say his best.

Yeah the narrative awesomeness is the reason I like it so much.

How about this question: Dylan's strongest album, lyrically? I think I'd have to go with The Times...

I think it has to be Bringing... I've never heard anyone praise Times like that before.

Bringing or Blood, probably both, his writing was a lot different at those points.

I don't know man, the title track, With God On Our Side, Only A Pawn In Their Game, When The Ship Comes In, and The Lonesome Death of Hattie Carroll are all brilliant, and the rest are just a notch below. imoimo

I sure recognize how good those are, but really Dylan has at least five albums that are lyrical masterpieces.

Honestly either BiaBH or Hwy 61 could be considered his best, imo.
