This weekend, Rhythm Radio takes you back to the early days of Rock 'N' Roll with a special countdown of the Top 100 R&B Singles of 1956 (including many double-sided smashes). The artist roster includes Little Richard, Fats Domino, LaVern Baker, The Platters, B.B. King, The Five Satins, Chuck Berry, Shirley & Lee, Frankie Lymon & The Teenagers, Clyde McPhatter, Bill Doggett, the Cadillacs, Ray Charles, The Clovers,Jimmy Reed, Smiley Lewis, The Dells, and many more!

This weekend, it's a countdown twofer on Rhythm Radio. First, we'll play the Top 100 Rhythm & Blues Hits of 1960. Join us for great songs by Brook Benton, Jerry Butler, Dinah Washington, Buster Brown, Hank Ballard & The Midnighters, Marv Johnson, Barrett Strong, Sam Cooke, Etta James, the Drifters, Ray Charles, Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs, and many more.

After that, it's the first half of Rhythm Radio's two-part tribute to Casey Kasem, who died on June 15th. This weekend, we'll feature a special 1981 edition of "American Top 40," in which Casey played the Top 40 Hits of the Beatles – together and apart.
