So you may be asking yourselves what this subforum is for.

Its a different spin on the Favorite Artists forum-type thing.

This forum is for a couple different kinds of threads:
1. Threads for genre (twee pop, free jazz)
2. Threads for time periods/general categories (like 80's alternative, 90's Beatle Sideprojects etc.)
3. Threads for individual posters, where they can recommend artists and where they can have artists recommend to them (either by user's request, or by other posters who know this poster's musical tastes) (these will follow the naming convention "Username Recommendations", or if you can think of something, roll with that).

There will be no threads for artists, since Favorite Artists does that job.

Also, no direct links to Megaupload/Rapidshare/etc. you know what to do with those. The only two instances when you should directly link to those is: 1. if you're sharing your own music and 2. if the music has been made available for free (like Nine Inch Nails' The Slip). You must break the direct link, change the "tt" in "http" to "xx". Basically you'd need to copy into your address bar and change it back to tt.

Most importantly, Make sure to scan your files with the antivirus/antimalware program of your choice before uploading them as to not fuck up someone else's computer.
