This might be my favorite song that has come out this year. I just have no idea what they are saying.

yes in the sense that it is a great show, no in the sense that he is likely nowhere near a slowdown in quality or quantity of shows

Bloom is what I imagine a Cocteau Twins comeback album would sound like

i don't understand, they don't sound anything like imo; and not to mention aren't even close to the same league as CT

They sound like a mellowed out version of CT. I definitely hear some Heaven or Las Vegas in Bloom.

If you're one of the two people that frequent this thread that somehow doesn't have Bloom or anything from it, "Lazuli" is free on iTunes right now. Grab that shit, now.

I think at this point, Bloom might be my album of the year. Your move, Animal Collective and Future of the Left

I'm not saying Bloom is a lesser album for having a Cocteau Twins influence, but there are definitely some Cocteau Twins influences on Bloom, particularly the first half.

it's not a healthy attitude to only expect an aoty from artists you love, though i suppose it's natural. in either case, i didn't even know FOTL was still around, though AnCo definitely has aoty potential

I think a better/more accurate Beach House analogue would be Mojave 3
