brilliant tune. i like how j. jewel uses ida no's voice completely differently to how he uses ruth radelet's in chromatics

i hope that nocturnal synth sound never dies. can never get enough

ya hes an interseting dude. i couldnt tell if he was being pompous or sarcastic in certain parts. maybe my reading comprehension skills have diminished. either way it was a good read.

good to know theres another okkervil fan here. which one's your favorite. i will always love Black Sheep Boy the most but the Stage Names as incredible too. Ive had points where Unless It's Kicks is my favorite song ever. see them if you get the chance. He does A Stone by himself with an acoustic guitar. It's mesmerizing.

also, going to see neon indian tomorrow. gonna take a couple tabs too. it was amazing last time but this time they're in a better venue and it's much nicer outside so i'll be able to wear more comfortable clothing.

Down the River of Golden Dreams is one great song after another. I actually like it better every time I listen to it.

ya i knew it was gonna get 9+. its just so freaking good. its their most consistent album they've made and could become my favorite of theirs.
