Anybody know if Stars of the Lids' "Mulholland" has anything to do with Mulholland Dr? They were released within a couple weeks of each other and have about the same atmosphere. Seems too weird of a coincidence.

so not sure why people are talking about the tupac hologram so much at Coachella. The people who actually attended didn't think much of it. I mean goddamn, 50 cent and Eminem came out.

Pitchfork reminded me to check out Spiritualized and it's damn good, their best since (better than maybe even?) Ladies & Gents

Jake, did you see FlyLo/how was he?

Sadly I did not catch his set man, and I knew he was debuting his new material too. I was too drunk by then, so at the time all I remember was stumbling into Feist's set and then leaving to drink more beer.

I think it's because when you're actually in the festival context, you kind of expect the random theatrical elements.

I thought the hologram 2pac was awesome, he should perform more often. Maybe we'll even see a hologram 2pac album come out in the next couple of years.
