We used to have official criteria based tiers in this forum similar to those in the Directors, Authors, Actors and Comedy threads, but they have been removed due to post warring. This post has been modified to be a reference those who want to make tiers based off of their personal preference

Recommended First Listen
Album that you'd recommend to be the first that a newbie to the artist should listen to. Its usually an orange album unless you think a newbie would be better served by a red album before digging into an artist's orange albums.

Orange Bold
Albums you really love. 5 star albums.

Red Bold
Albums you really enjoy. 4 star albums

Black Bold
Albums you think are merely good, or is just average or has good songs but the album as a whole has some faults. 3 star albums

Sea Green Bold
Albums you think are subpar or below average. 2 star albums

Brown Bold
Albums you find to be awful. 1 and 0 star albums

Me and Avery have removed the original official tiers and are replacing them with data from the DDD List pages. If you want to make your own personal tiers, the distinction between the five rankings is above

So please when you're voting for threads, don't vote for artists that you only want to see a tier built for, vote for artists you are going to legitimately post about. Thx.
