I also wanted to share this album with you guys, it's pretty fantastic. It's Swedish pop by a singer named Salem Al Fakir. It's very "classic" sounding. Salem's voice is very unique and I like it a lot. There's power pop, soul, arena rock, and psychedelic influence here. Not everything is successful, but overall I think this is a very good album.

That was my knee-jerk reaction, but considering the success with which she's pulled off Elton John and David Bowie-esque ballads I'm unwilling to have low expectations.

If it's produced right - a rock feel with inventive instrumentation and avoiding all the traps of rock production - it stands a chance at being awesome. But at this point I'm skeptical.
