I think the tier should look something like this:

Studio Albums:
Talking Heads: 77 (1977)
More Songs About Building and Food (1978)
Fear of Music (1979)
Remain In Light (1980)
The Name of This Band Is Talking Heads (1982, Live Album)
Speaking In Tongues (1983)
Stop Making Sense (1984)

Little Creatures (1985)
True Stories (1986)
Naked (1988)

Perhaps Fear of Music orange bolded?

FoM shouldn't be italicized, should it? I thought we got rid of that category with the oranges.

Other than that, looks good. I wouldn't orange bold FoM.

we never had italics. Italics in the Film Thread = Oranges here.

Little Creatures ranks higher than Speaking in Tongues and The Name of This Band is Talking Heads on Acclaimed Music. The album went 2X Platinum in the U.S., which would make it their best selling album in that country, and Gold in the U.K. and was also voted album of the year for 1985 in the Pazz and Jop poll. The album has significant acclaim, like most of their albums, and very significant popularity. Based on that, it should be at least bolded and maybe even red.

Also, the concert film, Stop Making Sense deserves mention here. Maybe not in the tier, as the album released could cover that, but it is such a great concert. Maybe my favourite music film.

On the other hand, Speaking in Tongues and The Name of This Band are vastly superior to Little Creatures in terms of actual quality.

Maybe. Maybe not. I think it's irrelevant giving that that is only an opinion. Especially since, as I noted, it actually has more acclaim than those albums.

But maybe there is evidence to the contrary, I'm not ruling that out.

I also agree that 77 should be red.

Byrne has said there is absolutely no possibility of a reunion ever happening. I assume he'll stick to that statement, but then again he might just feel like doing it one day and call everyone up.
