I think Yours Is No Disgrace is my fave from The Yes Album.

Perpetual Change, bro, Perpetual Change

Actually, Perpetual Change is probably my least favorite on the album.

For me, ranking them personally...

1. Yours Is No Disgrace (the bass, the FUCKING BASS!) *bows down to Squire*
2. I've Seen All Good People
3. Starship Trooper
4. A Venture
5. The Clap
6. Perpetual Change

I love the jazz interlude in YIND!

Yeah it's brilliant.
Has to be my 2nd favorite Yes song, after Heart Of The Sunrise.

I've been on a Yes kick for the last couple of days.

A nice reminder of how much I love this band.

I pretty much always stop listening to The Yes Album after side 1.

I don't know if I even really dislike the second half. I just love the first three tracks a bunch and then I move on. I can't even remember what A Venture or Perpetual Change sound like.

A Venture is one of the most underrated Yes songs, Tony Kaye is great on that track.

I swear to God, Yours Is No Disgrace is so brilliant it's essence cannot be defined by any mere words in the english language.
So unbelievably, abnormally spectacular that I am brought to tears by the sheer musical perfection.

In otherwords, WHAT A FUCKING SONG. Not only Yes' best song, but the best prog song period, for my money.
I mean, I love Rush and Crimson as much as the next person, but Jesus H. Christ, this is untouchable.

Am I the only one who ever-so-slightly prefers The Yes Album to Fragile?

Probably not, though I prefer Fragile for it's Wakemanness.
