Also, has anyone listened to that new BADBADNOTGOOD album (BBNG2)? Opinions? From the one song I heard on YouTube it sounds terrific.

I thought it was meh for the most part. Some great moments but the musicianship didn't impress me much at all.

Been going through the jazz classics, thought it was about time to get on that. Of the albums I've heard so far, here's my rankings:

(Love)
1. Bitches Brew
2. Mingus Ah Um
(Really Like)
3. A Love Supreme
4. The Revolution Will Not Be Televised
(Not Bad)
5. Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
(Meh)
6. Kind of Blue
(Nah)
7. Black Unity

Based on my preferences so far, where should I go next? I really like Bebop more than anything else.

Anyone a fan of Christian Scott? He's new, but shows a lot of promise. I listened to his first album "Rewind That" and thought it was really neat.

Moanin' and Free For All, both by Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, are two of my favourite Jazz albums. Blue Train and Giant Steps are both great Bebop/Hard Bop albums by Coltrane. Headhunters by Herbie Hancock might be up your alley, too.
