Location: here. hi.
This is a middle point thread to the Indie Thread and Metal thread. Discuss hard rock, alternative rock, radio rock, grunge, post-grunge, etc. here.

For alternative music, try to avoid discussion of any genre that already has a thread (like Britpop, Post-Punk/College Rock, Indie, Shoegazing/Dream Pop or Slowcore)

Live is great, "Lightning Crashes" is an awesome hit.

Yeah, the name sounds good.

I have this obsession with Slash's Snakepit, right now. Does anyone else here like that band? It's so so underrated. It's Five O'Clock Somewhere is a fantastic album. People should hear it more.

I have to check them properly at some point, I really love Velvet Revolver's Contraband.

Live is great, Throwing Copper was so huge, but then, the band sort of evaporated .....

new Foo Fighters song Rope isn't too bad, I like it. I wonder how the rest of the album will be.

I like it too, pretty raw track. I'm hoping really much from the new album, Grohl has potential for awesomeness.

The main riff in Rope might be the best thing that Foo Fighters have ever done.

I prefer White Limo as the better song imo..sounds like Ministry with Patton on vocals!!crazy shit!!! The new album is definately a improvement on their last one ..i really dig it.

Anyone have/listen to The Tea Party album The Edges Of Twilight? thats a really good Alternative/Rock album from the 90's as well..

And Live's best album was Throwing Copper but Distance wasn't bad either..

This sounds like the perfect opportunity to bring up Magic Dirt:

New snippets of Queens of the Stone Age sound great.

It better be worth the wait. Sounds like a head trip so far.

Joe, what would you call the quintessential album by Clutch? I've randomly listened to some of their material already, but haven't really been sure where to start properly.
