really cant find folk of bangladesh that hasnt been modernised. i have some stuff on my computer, but it takes a painfully long time to upload. however, you can listen to some of this George, i think you'll like it.

and, an old old favorite, probably the finest female vocalist we have in our country....

Noon Chill by Arto Lindsay
-http://www.mediafire.com/?nzqynongz2f

Basically what this is is brazilian downtempo with some really cool bossa nova type rhythms. Pretty much the best thing I've discovered in a long time. The guy has actually had a really interesting career, he started out in a no wave band called DNA which was on that No New York comp Brian Eno produced. Later on he was with another group called Lounge Lizards who merged no wave with jazz(I've got a link for that also if anyone wants). That no wave background actually shows up a few times here also and its great. For real, no one should skip out on this if you've not heard it.

respect, sir gray! arto lindsay is great and you should look into 'mundo civilizado' as well if you like his 'international' work.

Please do, and I'd love to hear your thoughts, but its not like DNA at all. Same goes for Rashed and anyone else, I'd love to know what anyone has to say about it.
